Appalachian State is not to be messed with. A team with a true underdog story has been the center of headlines for the first three weeks of college football. App. State goes into week 4 against James Madison after beating Troy with a hail mary 50+ yarder for a Touchdown. So far this season App. State has scored 40 points in a single quarter which made them the fourth highest scoring quarter team in NCAAF history (week 1), beat Texas A&M at TEX after being paid over $1 million by the Texas team to lose (week 2) and then took down Troy via a pass with a success rate below 25% in week 3. The Mountaineers are 2-1 so far this season after that win against Troy.
