Austin Adams 'OMG' Mock Is Anger From Being DFA'd Over 4 Months Ago

Not sure what’s worse: The Mets slumping and playing inconsistent baseball over a week-and-a-half span, or former players making fun of their winning celebration amidst this up-and-down streak.

The OMG celebration that the New York Mets have basically trademarked as their own is probably one of the best celebrations in baseball right now.

Obviously other teams (or at least players) cough cough ATHLETICS and Austin Adams do not like the winning Mets’ celebration.

A’s reliever Austin Adams shared what prompted him to have his over-the-top OMG mocking celebration.

“When you get DFA’d you’re told you’re not good enough to play for a team anymore,” said Adams, who was DFA’d by the Mets and later traded to Oakland for cash on March 29th. Clearly it was still a sore subject for the 33-year-old.

Adams only spent spring training with New York.
