WNBA player Brittney Griner has pleaded guilty in a Russian court to drug smuggling, which carries a 10-year sentence. Griner has been detained in Russia since February after being arrested in the Sheremetyevo International Airport as cannabis oil was found in vape cartridges. Griner was in Russia as she was on the roster of the UMMC Ekaterinburg of the Russian Women’s Basketball Premier League.
