Earlier today the Minnesota Twins officially released outfielder Ryan LaMarre.
LaMarre spent 2021-2022 with the New York Yankees, appearing in nine Major League games in 2021. In that span he only posted a .190 average, accumulating three hits with two being home runs.
Meanwhile the Cincinnati Reds signed former Yankees lefty Chasen Shreve to a minor league contract.
Shreve appeared in 180 games as a Yankee, posting a 14-6 record and a 3.92 ERA. He also appeared in a one-off season with the Mets during 2020, going 1-0 with a 3.96 ERA in 17 games.
