Jacob deGrom may go back to the I.L again just days before the season opener. It was announced that the Mets star pitcher has been scratched from spring training today where he was set to start. New York Mets Manager Buck Showalter said that deGrom is to have an MRI done and that the team will evaluate opening day once results are back. Jacob deGrom missed a majority of the 2021 season after an arm injury, he pitched to a 7-2 record along with a 1.08 ERA through 92 innings.
