Joe Flacco In Place For Revenge Game vs Former Team

Joe Flacco sat on the Jets’ bench for 3 seasons and went 1-8 in the 9 starting opportunities he had. Fans and media criticized Flacco for his lack of movement and his negative body language.

New York and Flacco would depart from each other over the offseason.

Up until a few weeks ago Flacco was sitting on his couch at home as a free agent before the Cleveland Browns contacted him.

Flacco has since led the Browns to a 3-1 record and has thrown 10 touchdowns, making Cleveland super bowl favorites. The stellar performances by the 39-year-old quarterback has him 2nd in Comeback Player of the Year voting.

Tonight, the Jets travel to Cleveland and will face Flacco’s Browns for a Thursday night matchup with kickoff at 8:15pmEST.

Cleveland (10-5) is in play for a top playoff slot, while New York (6-9) was eliminated from playoff contention earlier this month.
