Daniel Jones Throws Lazy Pick 6 In Return Since ACL Tear

Daniel Jones having 10 completions today is something that needs to be studied. Because seeing how he was throwing the ball, it truly makes you wonder how he even got one reception.

This may have very well been the worst performance ever by a starting quarterback in a preseason game. Thank God it was only a preseason game.

Jones went 11-for-18 passing for 138 yards and 2 interceptions. Jones struggled heavily to begin the game and at one point had a QBR of just 3.9, he would end the day with a 45.4 rating.

Big Blue’s $160 million dollar man played the entire first half, marking his return from ACL surgery.

“I feel good, physically,” he said. “The knee felt really good. I was excited to be out there.”

Jones tore his ACL in his right knee on November 5th, on top of that he also suffered a neck injury (unrelated) several weeks prior.

Overall, Jones could’ve played much worse.

His two interceptions were part of five total turnovers that New York committed Saturday.

One of Jones interceptions came as he was avoiding a sack in his own end zone, just to throw the ball about 10ish yards for a wide-open pick 6.

The Giants now have a 1-1 preseason record after this 28-10 loss against the Texans.
