Josh Hart Signs Four-Year Extension With Knicks; Total Earnings In $94M Range

Josh Hart and the New York Knicks are finalizing a four-year contract extension.

On the first day that Josh Hart was eligible to sign an extension with the Knicks, he did exactly that. A four-year extension that is reported to be at the $81M mark, will keep Hart in the heart of New York through the 2027/27 season.

The deal kicks in after this upcoming season, and will add to his $12.9M option for 2023/24, paying him in the $94M range over the next five seasons.

Hart was a trade deadline piece from Portland last season. He instantly became a fan favorite in New York.

He played 25 regular season games, averaging 10.2 points, 7 rebounds and 3.6 assists. Five playoff starts would be part of 11 total playoff game appearances under the Knicks, where he averaged 10.4 points and 7.4 rebounds, while nursing an ankle injury.
