The official schedule for the West Haven High School has been released, the Blue Devils road back to states will consist of the usual 5/5 home/away games split across 10 regular season games.
The powerful Blue Devils are led by Head Coach Rich Boshea, who is entering year 9 of his HC tenure.
The season opens up with a 6:00 p.m. kickoff time at Ken Strong Stadium against Greenwich.
Week 2 features a loud rivalry match against Shelton on the road. All of West Haven rivalry games will be on the road this season (9/20 @ Shelton | 10/4 @ Hamden | 11/1 @ North Haven | 11/27 @ Fairfield Prep).
For the second-straight year we will not see the historic rivalry matchup against Hillhouse, due to the divisions both teams compete in.
There will be 1 non-league game, which is on the road against NFA. The last time the Westies and NFA played was in pre-COVID times back in 2019. Since 2017, West Haven has outscored NFA 69-32, while going 2-0.
West Haven’s regular season will conclude on October 27th, against Fairfield Prep.
