Jacob deGrom signed with the Texas Rangers this offseason, leaving the Mets' after a nine year tenure with the team. The Mets dodged a bullet though as deGrom is already injured and will miss the start of spring training and possibly the first week of the regular season. Injures are nothing new for deGrom, he has only played in 38 games over the last three seasons due to being on the IL and having multiple set-backs.
