The New York Mets have released four minor league players, with three of them being pitchers.
On November 3rd, it was announced that the Mets have released RHPs Connor Brandon, Mathieu Voros and Cole Gordon, along with infielder Kevin Kendall.
Cole Gordon was with the Mets since 2019 and got as high as Triple-AAA, where he only pitched 2.0 innings. Gordon didn’t play in a single game in 2023.
Kevin Kendall is a former 7th rounder out of college by the Mets, but wasn’t able to get out of Single-A ball. Kendall appeared in 62 games over the course of 3 seasons, hitting a .267 with a .373 OPS.
