NOV. 13: The New York Knicks took up the Oklahoma City Thunder for a Sunday morning matchup. This marked the 5,954th regular season game in franchise history for the Knicks' squad. In those previous 5,953-games the Knicks have played in a total of 23,812-quarters. It came down to the 23,813th quarter for the New York team to make history in front of the home crowd.
The Knicks put up 46 points in the first quarter, the most points in a single quarter in franchise history. Nine out of the 10 players who entered in the game during the first quarter scored at least two points. Cam Reddish and Isaiah Hartenstein were the leading Knick scorers with seven points each.
The team shot 20-for-31 in the first, going 4-for-7 from three-point range, they had a 64.5 field goal percentage.
