It has been announced that that NYCFC will build a soccer stadium after playing their last seven seasons in baseball stadiums. The stadium carries a price tag of $780 million under private funding and will be built up in Willets Point, across the street from the right field foul pole of Citi Field. The complex will include a 250-room hotel and 2,500 hosing units. The Mets will receive parking revenue collected during soccer games. The stadium will be completed by 2027.
