New York Yankees prospect Madison Santos is currently playing with the single-A Tampa Tarpons. Santos, who is in his age 22 season has been part of the Yankees organization since 2018. The lefty hitter is currently batting .214 through 38 games and 131 at-bats, but the biggest thing to look at is Santos’ OBP%, on base percentage. Madison Santos has a .352 OBP% as he is able to draw a lot of walks, but he does not stop there as Santos also uses his speed to swipe bases, so far this season Santos has 10 stolen bases. Despite the .214 batting average Madison Santos has come in big for his team with his good eye and plate discipline, overall Santos is ranked fourth on the team when it comes to OBP% in 30+ games played. Madison Santos would perform big if he is sent to the high-A+ Hudson Valley Renegades. The change of scenery may also make his bat improve and have that batting average go up. Nevertheless Madison Santos is a threat at the plate and an excellent defensive player with a .950 fielding percentage this season in 304.3 innings. Madison Santos is a rising star and undoubtedly a future major leaguer.
