History was made last night inside Madison Square Garden during the New York Knicks game as they Faced the Golden State Warriors. The Knicks came in 12-15, overall after starting 5-1 the team has gone 7-14. The Warriors were looking to make history as Point Guard Stephen Curry entered play just one three point shot away from tying Ray Allen’s all time record of 2,973. Curry (as usual) went off against the New York Knicks as he dropped 22 points in 35 minutes on the court, five of his eight field goals were from beyond the arc as he went 8-19 shooting. The Warriors would beat the Knicks after holding them to only 16 points in the third, overall this was a close game the entire time as the Knicks were contending and even led at several points, but a bad stretch of time led to their downfall again. The Knicks are now 12-16 as the Warriors live to fight another day, they move to 23-5. Stephen Curry now has a total of 2,977 three point buckets, a true GOAT and icon of basketball, it only seems right that such a historic record was broken in such a historic stadium.
