Super Bowl 56 Teams Are Set

Super Bowl 56 now has teams set as the Cincinnati Bengals will take on Los Angeles Rams at SoFi. The Bengals went 10-7 on the regular season as the Rams went 12-5 to get them into the playoffs where they had to battle their way to get to the biggest game.

Cincinnati only won a single playoff game between 1989-2019 and at one point had a stretch of 6-25-1 between 2019-2020, after drafting LSU QB Joe Burrow things looked up for the team despite a season ending injury for Burrow in his rookie year. Burrow would lead the Bengals to their best season since 2015, getting the nickname ‘Joe Burr.’ The Bengals would beat the Raiders (5), Titans (1) and the Chiefs (2) to advance into Super Bowl LVI, outscoring opponents 72-59.

The Rams turned Matthew Stafford’s career around in just a matter of months. In an offseason trade sending Jared Goff to the Lions, the Rams got Matthew Stafford who had a 74-90-1 record in 12-years. In just one season Stafford got the most wins in a season (12) and threw for the most yards in his career (4,886) to lead the Rams offense to the big game. LA took down the Cardinals (5), Buccaneers (2) and the 49ers (6) to outscore all teams combined 84-55. Matty Stafford is just one win away from a complete change of his career to seal his name in a totally different eye, from a QB on a constant losing team to winning the biggest game in football.
