The Stats Behind Daniel Jones' Huge Season

Updated: May 18, 2023

The New York Giants are playoff bound for the first time since the 2016 season. The team stands 9-6-1 with one game left of the season as they will take on the Eagles in Philly. Most likely the Giants will sit their starters due to being locked in and not being in contention for the divisional win.

The G-men are led by fourth-year QB1, Daniel Jones, who has had an MVP caliber season in what is a career year for the 25-year-old. Jones has completed 67.2% of his passes for 3,205 yards, throwing 15 TDs - 5 INTs while rushing for 708 yards and 7 touchdowns. This campaign will fall as Jones’ first winning season of his career, the former 6th overall pick of the ‘19 NFL Draft is finally showing his true potential in what was undoubtedly a career defining year.

The Giants look to lock up Daniel Jones in a multi-year contract this season, making him their franchise quarterback.

*BOLD indicates career highs (career low for INTs).
