The West Haven Blue Devils 2019 - 2020 Season Summarized

The West Haven blue Devils 2019 - 2020 Freshman Football season is over as the final game was played on Tuesday November 26th, 2019 vs Fairfield Prep. The Blue Devils lost the game to end the season 3-6 in the win/loss column, Fairfield finishes 3-7. The Blue Devils did everything right this season having a Quarterback who can do everything, that Quarterback being Preston Denno who played a huge threat week in and week out as not only does he have the wheels, he has the arm too. The Blue Devils also had a great Running Back being the #4 Jah’zire Massy who put in 55% of West Haven’s Touchdowns this season. The Blue Devils had a great Wide Receiver of Avian Evans who controlled the WR spot making game-winning touchdowns and amazing one-handed catches.

You can't forget the Defense though, West Haven had some of the best defensive players in the league, one of the players that stood out is Outside Linebacker Antonio Worrell who made stopping plays this season to the other teams drives. Another player that preformed well in the Outside Linebacker position was Connor Holy. West Haven had an up and down season, you can't decline that but the amount of talent on the team showed and never left the game no matter how much they were up on the scoreboard or how much they were down.

The players on the Blue Devils roster are some of the best in Connecticut and are threats in every game. The Blue Devils won some of the toughest games on the schedule this season, one of the games the Devils defeated long time rivals Hillhouse in an away game.
