West Haven Loses Home Advantage After Thanksgiving Eve Loss To Prep | LL Playoffs Set

A fake punt touchdown sealed the deal for Fairfield, who took down West Haven for the 9th-straight time in a Thanksgiving Eve 31-20 victory.

The score ends West Haven’s regular season on the losing end. Nonetheless, head coach Rich Boshea brought the team to an 8-2 record.

The Devils now enter playoff football looking to revisit the state championship and win it all. Last season still stings in the minds of the Devils’ youth.

The loss, just like any, featured playoff implications. As standings stand at the making of this article, West Haven will not have a definitive home game this playoffs, unless they play as the higher seed.

West Haven (5th seed), will face Glastonbury (4th seed) for round one of the 2024 Class LL football playoffs.
