In the cold snowfall West Haven managed to remain hot, shutting out Glastonbury on the road in a tightly contested 6-0 win. The only score was a Nick Conlan 4-yard pass to Tamarion Lafortune.
West Haven advances and will face top seeded Fairfield Prep on the road.
Prep blew out the Blue Devils in the Thanksgiving Bowl, and has won 9-straight against the westies. Although, we all know how hard it is to beat a team twice in the same season.
At the end of the day West Haven knows what needs to be adjusted and is undoubtedly more prepared going into Prep’s backyard.
West Haven goes into the game needing just that soul win to make it back to the state championship game. The window is closing for a Blue Devils championship under one of the best 4-year runs in recent history.
Some news prior to the Prep game is Kadear Drembele, DL, W.H., who signed his National Letter of Intent early Wednesday morning to play football with DI Wake Forest.
