The New York Yankees continue to make history as they have gotten a no-hitter and a triple play all in the same week. The no-hitter came against the Texas Rangers when Corey Kluber played with almost total perfection, just allowing a single walk to get his first career no-hitter and the Yankees 12th no-hitter in franchise history. A few days later we saw the Yankees turn a triple play vs one of the best offensive teams in the American League, the Chicago White Sox to win the nail biting game 2-1.
So far this 2021 MLB season has been up and down for the pinstripes, but as of lately things seem to be turning around for the Yankees who currently sit 3rd in the American League with a 26-19 record (.578wp%)
So far this MLB season has been crazy as across the league we have seen batting average down and strikeouts up, it will be interesting to see how things will be once the all-star break comes and goes.
